If there is a feature you wish the generator or the character cards had, or something that gets in your way, email [email protected]. Every message is read by the person who builds the site, and the useful ones end up on this page.
The generator can now give every name its own last name.
Tick "Add a last name to each result" under Fine-tune. The night elf generator also lists last names used in Warcraft, from Stormrage and Whisperwind to the tabletop RPG.

Name lists are searchable by trait, not just by name and meaning.
Type "warrior", "nature" or "noble house" to filter a list down to names carrying that trait. The tags under each name are what you are searching.
Female elf names →
The D&D elf names page now opens with the names.
Example child, adult and family names from the official rules, plus D&D-style names with meanings for high elves, wood elves, drow and sea elves. The naming conventions follow below.

Everything you can do with a card now happens on the card page.
Publish or unpublish, download the PNG, edit the story, copy the link and hear the name, all in place. My Cards opens the card page directly instead of a popup.
My Cards →Names you already turned into a card show a "View card" link in generator results and lists.
Card builder: "Roll appearance" writes shorter, pronoun-free descriptions that work for any gender.
Skyrim rolls now stay within one lineage (Altmer, Bosmer or Dunmer) instead of mixing them. The sub-race picker matches the generator.
Card builder →Cleaner CSV exports.
A readable "Naming Style" column replaces origin codes, empty portrait and audio columns are gone, and family exports lead with each member's role, relationship and hook.
The pricing page now lists the free daily limits, so you know what you get before you sign in.

Character cards replace credits.
Preview the name meaning and backstory for free. A card ($2.99, or three for $6.99) adds a painted portrait, a voice clip, a PNG download and a shareable page you can publish to the community and keep editing. Old credits were converted at 5 credits per card.
Make a card →The community page: browse published character cards by sub-race.
Community →Generator fine-tuning: starts with, syllables, what the name should mean, and a shared family name.
"Similar" on any result gives you variants of that name. Repeated batches no longer return names you have already seen. The generator sits on the first screen of the home page.
Generator →The elf family generator has its own page and is free with an account, five families a day.
Eight related characters with roles, relationships, a plot hook each and a paragraph of house lore.
Family generator →Sign in with an email link. No Google account needed.
The name library grew to 1,183 names, and the Lord of the Rings guide gained a full list of Tolkien's named elves with meanings.
