Frequently Asked Questions
- What is a character card?
- A one-page character sheet for an elf: name, pronunciation, meaning, appearance, a backstory you can edit, a painted AI portrait, and a spoken pronunciation. You can download it as a PNG.
- Can I see it before I pay?
- Yes. The card builder drafts the name meaning and backstory for free. The portrait, audio, download and share link are unlocked when you create the card.
- Do purchased cards expire?
- No. Cards stay in your account until you use them, and there is no daily cap on paid cards: one card is consumed per successful generation.
- What happens if generation fails?
- A card is only consumed when the portrait is successfully generated. If the AI fails, the card is returned to your balance automatically. The voice clip is retried once; in the rare case it still fails, the card is created without it.
- Can I get a refund?
- Full refunds are available within 7 days of purchase for cards that have not been used. If you experience technical issues, contact us and we will resolve it.
- Is the artwork exclusive to me?
- Each portrait is generated for your card, but we cannot guarantee exclusivity of AI-generated images. Cards are for personal use in games, stories and campaigns.
- Is my payment information secure?
- Checkout is hosted by Creem, the merchant of record for every purchase. We never see or store your card details.
